Final dissemination event for the GINKGO project results and closure of the European project

On 10 July 2026, we were delighted to host the GINKGO Final Dissemination Event in Briscous, French Basque Country, bringing together our project partners, social work stakeholders, and professionals committed to preventing social isolation among older adults.
During the morning, participants had the opportunity to:
- Discover the project's main outcomes and the tools developed;
- Discuss the challenges of social isolation affecting older adults;
- Explore inspiring local good practices;
- Take part in thematic round tables encouraging the exchange of experiences among professionals and partners.
On this occasion, we presented the training programme, the practical guide for professionals and volunteers, and the photo book featuring testimonies collected throughout the project.
This event marked the successful completion of three years of European cooperation, bringing together universities, research organisations, training centres, associations, volunteers, and local stakeholders around a shared goal: preventing social isolation among older adults by placing older people at the heart of the project.
