Discover the video interviews from the project

May 2026
The second deliverable of the GINKGO project takes the form of a series of cross-video interviews, highlighting the voices of older people as well as professionals involved in innovative initiatives.
These productions are designed as tools for awareness-raising, training, and analysis of social realities. Based on the life-story methodology, this approach values individual experiences and knowledge. It encourages empathy, helps challenge stereotypes related to ageing, and strengthens the autonomy of older people through a participatory and transformative approach.
Discovering a good practice in France:
We chose to highlight , which develops shared housing for older people experiencing isolation. Geneviève and Flore share their experiences and perspectives on this living project, to which they have contributed.
You can also discover Annabelle’s testimony, where she shares her vision of this innovative initiative, emphasizing that it is co-designed with the people concerned, according to their needs: people facing isolation, people whose homes have become too large or unsuitable, people with different income levels, and those wishing to be part of a collective living project.
Discovering a good practice in Italy:
In Italy, we gave the floor to the stakeholders of Sollievo, a home care service developed in partnership with local social services. This initiative provides support to family caregivers by offering them respite time through planned interventions tailored to the needs of their loved ones.
A big thank you to everyone who agreed to share their experiences and contribute to this collective reflection on isolation and the development of innovative actions for older people.
